Annual Rally Update:

Cancelled Until Further Notice

It is with great regret that we announce the cancellation of our annual rally. We have made this decision with the wellbeing of radio amateurs, both in the North and South, in mind. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates on this website.

The club normally meets on the first Monday of each month at the Share Centre Lisnaskea @7.30pm.

GB3CP 2 meter FM Voice Repeater

145.7375MHz 110Hz CTCSS 1750Hz tone

The Fermanagh Repeater, GB3CP is owned and maintained by Lough Erne Amateur Radio Club GN0LEC and is funded by the Club as a service to members and to all radio amateurs and experimenters in Northern Ireland and nearby counties of the Republic of Ireland.The NoV was issued in January 2009. Our Repeater Keeper is Raymond Ashe Gi8RLE whom we elected an Honorary Member to mark his good service to the Club, our repeater and amateur radio. Lough Erne Amateur Radio Club GN0LEC

The club was founded in 1981 by the local amateurs and persons interested in the hobby The first meeting was held in the Fermanagh Lakeland Forum with 18 persons attending. The first annual rally was held in 1982 and has continued every year since

How to get a Amateur Radio Licence

Amateur radio licences are issued by OFCOM but the examinations to obtain the licence are prepared by the Radio Society of Great Britain and taken at approved centres.  The Lough Erne ARC is an approved location at the SHARE centre near Lisnaskea.  There are three levels of licence – Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced.  continue reading
